Fiksu named the Best Place to Work in Massachusetts in 2013

BOSTON, June 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- In recognition of an outstanding commitment to employees and company culture, Fiksu, Inc. (www.fiksu.com), developer of the award-winning Fiksu Mobile App Marketing Platform, was named to the number one spot for mid-sized companies on Boston Business Journal's annual Best Places to Work survey.

At the awards ceremony held at Boston's Citi Performing Arts Center last night, winners were invited to share three-word acceptance speeches. Fiksu was one of more than 400 companies considered for the award, which was based on a two-stage nomination process and the result of employee-satisfaction surveys taken throughout March and April. Fiksu received the highest score for its survey results among all mid-sized companies. In addition, the Journal recognized that Fiksu gives "its developers and support staff the flexible and fun workspace, technology, and free fuel they need to continue to keep up with the pace of the mobile app market."

The survey project was launched in January by the Boston Business Journal in conjunction with market research firm Quantum Workplace of Omaha, NE. Companies were evaluated on the results of employee-satisfaction surveys. Employees answered questionnaires that addressed such factors as their pride in the company, company encouragement, support and recognition of achievement and relationships with co-workers and supervisors. The results were analyzed and scored by assigning points to each question.
