AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CodeLathe, the leader in enterprise file sharing and sync (EFSS), today announced the immediate availability of FileCloud 10. This is a significant release with major new features and hundreds of enhancements.
"We are thrilled to bring License-Free Client Accounts to FileCloud 10. This new licensing approach brings immense cost savings (10x over competition) to our customers and introduces a new, disruptive business model in EFSS market place. We believe in creating value for our customers by providing simple pricing, product and business model innovation. FileCloud 10.0 delivers exactly that," said Venkat, COO of CodeLathe.
Four of the most significant enhancements in FileCloud 10 include:
License-Free Client Accounts: FileCloud 10 brings industry's first license-free client accounts for secure file sharing with vendors and customers. Limited user accounts don't count towards licensing and will have the ability to view, upload, and download content via a web browser. For the administrator, a limited account also creates an audit trail of the user.
Seamless Single Sign-on Integration: The new release offers easy integration with existing corporate identity access management systems by bringing support for SAML 2.0 and Active Directory Federation Service (ADFS) SSO. FileCloud 10 also supports NTLM SSO.
Two-Factor Authentication Support for Sync, Drive and Outlook Add-On: A "two-step verification process," designed to provide an added layer of security has also been integrated in this release. Users will be required to enter a passcode in addition to a password in order to login to FileCloud via a desktop sync, drive or Outlook add-on.
A New Landing Page for File and Folder Shares: FileCloud 10 introduces a new landing page for users that is intended to increase brand awareness. Employees, customers and others will be exposed to your brand when they access, view, and download files.
Overall, FileCloud 10 also has more than 100 new features. For a complete guide to FileCloud 10's full list of additions, please click here.
"Today we've introduced more enhancements to FileCloud than any other time in our history, and nearly all of them have been developed based on changing customer needs and input," said Madhan Kanagavel, CEO of CodeLathe. "As we move forward, we urge our customers, and prospects to help us deliver products, and services that address the changing marketplace."
Pricing for FileCloud 10 starts at US$999 for 20 licenses. FileCloud 10 is available immediately.
