Increasing heart rate with body movement releases endorphins which are proven to block pain and reduce anxiety. Exercise also regulates cortisol, which, when overproduced, increases fear and anxiety. There is also proof that exercise stimulates both testosterone and human growth hormone, both of which can help with muscle growth and metabolism, while also reducing fat.
