Owens Corning Analyst Notes
On April 23, 2014, Owens Corning released its financial results for Q1 2014. The Company posted a 5.3% YoY decline in net sales to $1.3 billion. Owens Corning's Chairman and CEO Mike Thaman stated that the Company's Q1 2014 performance was led by continued improvement in Insulation and Composites, which offset the impact of weaker-than-expected roofing volumes. Adjusted earnings for Q1 2014 were $35 million, or $0.29 per diluted share, which remained flat as compared to Q1 2013.
