SANTA BARBARA, Calif., March 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, FindTheBest announces it is entering the classifieds market with the launch of five new comparisons: Cars for Sale, Jobs, Rentals, Dogs for Sale and Cats for Sale.
The classifieds comparisons are powered by the same data-driven comparison platform that powers more than 800 of FindTheBest's comparisons. Users can compare listings, filter options, review specs, view listing metrics within an overall context, get advice through buying guides and finally, contact the seller to take the next steps.
On the listing's detail page, specs and details—from make, model, trim and mileage, on the cars for sale comparison, to breed, location, price, grooming and temperament, on the Dogs for Sale comparison—are laid out without the clutter of marketing bias.
In order to help the consumer make the most informed decision, FindTheBest offers two unique tools that are both presented in a simple, easy-to-use format.
Surrounding context for key metrics:
The classifieds comparisons present consumers with a context for each listing's key stats. In the Cars for Sale comparison, for example, a car's price and mileage are presented alongside both the average price and mileage of all cars of that same make and model, as well as the average price and mileage of all available new and used cars for sale. This allows the consumer to quickly gauge whether the specs in their listing are within reason. These averages reflect real-time changes.
Each of the classifieds comparisons are also paired with a buying guide to help navigate consumers through the buying process, providing users with tips, things to look for and things to look out for when making a decision.
In the coming months, FindTheBest plans on entering other classifieds markets including vacation rentals, corporate rentals, motorcycles, boats, RVs and horses.
FindTheBest is an unbiased, data-driven comparison engine. We organize and present data in a consumer-friendly format so that you can make quick and informed decisions based on what's important to you.
