Finesa Real Estate Group Receives Award from Acquisition International Magazine

ROCKVILLE, Md., Oct. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Finesa Real Estate Group (Finesa) is pleased to receive the Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Private Equity Firm of the Year award by the 2013 International Fund Awards.

This award presented by Acquisition International Magazine honored Finesa for the outstanding performance of its Diversified International Partners (DIP) Fund. DIP is a $200 million real estate private equity fund developed for Latin American institutional and qualified high net worth investors. Launched in 2012 and sponsored by Finesa, DIP seeks investment opportunities in the best markets across the US with a focus on multi-family, retail, office and industrial/flex properties.

To launch the fund, Finesa secured commitments from some of the most prominent pension fund and endowment managers in Latin America.  Finesa exceeded its initial funding target of $50 million by over 40 percent, securing commitments in excess of $71 million. Additionally, capital raising efforts have continued to be successful and the fund has made investments in various target markets across the US.

Votes were compiled from individuals who operate, advise and invest in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Infrastructure and Real Estate and the subscribers of Acquisition International Magazine.
