NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- FirstKey Holdings, LLC (FirstKey Holdings), a specialty real estate finance company, today announced the launch of FirstKey Homes, LLC (FirstKey Homes), a new affiliate company dedicated to managing single-family rental (SFR) homes in select markets nationwide.

Earlier this month, FirstKey Homes took over management of more than 4,200 SFR homes formerly owned by Building and Land Technology (BLT) and previously managed by BLT Homes. The homes were recently acquired by an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management, L.P., the majority owner of FirstKey Holdings. The portfolio includes assets in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Tennessee.
