FirstLight Appoints Len Camara as Chief Information Officer

ALBANY, N.Y., March 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ --  FirstLight, a leading provider of fiber-optic data, Internet, data center, cloud and voice services to enterprise and carrier customers throughout the Northeast, announced the appointment of Leonard ("Len") Camara as Chief Information Officer.  Mr. Camara will serve as a member of the senior executive team and will oversee the advancement of the Company's Information Systems and Information Technology functions.

Mr. Camara brings more than 20 years of experience leading IT teams implementing systems, processes and capabilities, which ensure the security of digital assets, drive operating efficiencies and enable effective data mining, all focused on improving the customer experience and maintaining the integrity of systems and IT platforms.  Prior to joining FirstLight, Mr. Camara held senior management positions, including most recently as the Chief Information Officer for Energy Federation where he oversaw the digital transformation of the organization, as well as senior IT roles at Bright Horizons, TNCI, Polaroid and GTE Internetworking.
