FitzMark Launches New Year Service Project

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- FitzMark, Inc. has partnered with Gleaners Food Bank to launch a canned food drive, or "CAN-struction" project to start off the 2014 New Year.  Lead by their Giving Back Committee, the logistics company has decided to dedicate their time and energy toward a long term project of collecting non-perishable food items and engineering a replica of the 'driving' feature of their industry- a semi-tractor trailer- with the collected and donated items.   

"The Giving Back Committee chose this venture because we wanted to keep our company involved in a continual volunteer project. Constructing a semi-tractor trailer out of cans is simply our company's personal touch! FitzMark wants to prove our dedication to our local community in between the charity runs, fundraisers, and other donation drives. We are so excited to kick this project off!", says Alaina Vorndran, project leader for the Gleaners project. 

The commencement of the project will be on February 10th, with plans to complete it on May 30th.  All donations will be going to Gleaner's Food Bank of Indiana, a local Indianapolis, IN food bank.  FitzMark is welcoming any donations from any additional company or individual help!
