Flame Seal Products, Inc. Announces The Strategic Expansion Of Its Board Of Directors

HOUSTON, May 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- FLAME SEAL PRODUCTS, INC. (OTCPink: FLMP), a leading provider of Specialty Chemicals for the Passive Fire Protection Market, today announced the appointment of a new Board of Directors.  The new Board Members include:  Craig Keyser, Romeo Laurel and Bruce Rutherford. Mike Kiser will continue to serve as a Board Member.

Craig Keyser has served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Flame Seal products for the past few years is now Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Craig will act as Flame Seal's interim CEO while Mike Kiser recovers from recent health issues.

The new Board will help guide the organization as we refine the corporate strategic plan and put in place the necessary corporate governance policies to support the continued growth of Flame Seal.

Mike Kiser

Mike Kiser has been President of Flame Seal Products for the past 20 years.  During this time Flame Seal has developed some of the most innovative and unique fire retardant products in the industry.  He is a recognized expert in the field of Fire Retardant Codes and helps clarify the complicated and confusing language in many published code journals.

Craig Keyser

Craig is Flame Seal Products Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.  He has extensive experience in business development in both the domestic and foreign markets.  Craig has been the primary architect of the sales growth Flame Seal has experienced in several key markets. Mr. Keyser was the past Vice President of Atlas Refinery and a former Latin American Regional Manager for Bayer Corporation.  Mr. Keyser received a Bachelor in Business from University of Houston and a Masters of Business in International Business from Marquette University. 

Romeo Laurel

Romeo Laurel is the CEO and majority shareholder of ESSI (Employer Support Services, Inc.).  The company has two wholly owned subsidiaries:  Forward Edge Inc. and One Source Toxicology Lab Inc.  The company has 100 employees and gross sales in excess of 13 million.  Mr. Laurel received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Houston.  He received his CPA in 1970.

Bruce Rutherford

Bruce Rutherford is an International Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc., a highly respected global real investment and advisory firm. He has extensive management experience across North America and Asia Pacific including Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Philippines, Japan and China. He has had the additional responsibility of managing many of Jones Lang LaSalle's international client relationships. In that capacity, he supervised teams of professionals responsible for transactions, project management facilities and property management. He has led business units and geographic regions in both North America and Asia.  Mr. Rutherford received a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors from The Georgia Institute of Technology. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
