With dedicated sneaker recycling branded boxes in all nine locations—Old Town, Lakeview, Lincoln Square, South Loop, Algonquin, Deerfield, Elmhurst, Oak Park, and Rockford—Fleet Feet customers can now easily recycle their used sneakers and shop for new ones in a single visit.

Since the partnership began, Fleet Feet Chicago has collected over 49,878 pounds of sneakers, including 29,658 pairs of gently worn sneakers, 4,855 mixed or casual pairs, and 4,367 end-of-life pairs. These efforts have diverted an estimated 372,632 kilograms of CO₂e from landfills—making a measurable and lasting environmental impact.
