FLGI Identifies Forward-Looking Companies Committed to Support Flipped Learning Educators Worldwide

CHICAGO, Feb. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the Flipped Learning Global Initiative (FLGI), a worldwide coalition of educators, researchers, technologists, professional development providers and education leaders introduced its inaugural cadre of enterprise mission partners. The companies presented have agreed to support the latest research-based standards, and evolving global best practices in flipped learning. Enterprise mission partners have also signed on to closely collaborate with FLGI Research Fellows, FLGI Master Teachers and the broader flipped learning global community to accelerate the adoption of flipped learning around the world.

The companies include professional development partners: MT Groupo in Spain, IWBNET in Australia, TES in the United Kingdom and Udemy and Project Tomorrow in the United states.  The group also includes Certified Technology Mission Partners: Klounge, iSchool, InfoMentor, SigongMedia, and BenQ who have passed a 17-point evaluation confirming their suitability for flipped learning.

In January, FLGI launched a global program to help protect flipped learning educators from bad technology decisions. The program launched with a free training course called, How to Avoid the 17 Deadly Sins of Flipped Learning Technology Selection.  Flipped Learning Technology Certification is the second pillar of the program.
