Flint Fungicide from Bayer CropScience Receives Canada MRL Approval for Use on Strawberries

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., April 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Bayer CropScience announced today Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for Flint^® fungicide have been established in Canada, effective immediately. The recent decision by Health Canada establishes MRLs for trifloxystrobin, the active ingredient in Flint.

"We are excited that Canada has established the MRL for strawberries treated with Flint, as it provides strawberry growers and pest control advisers seeking to export their crop to Canada with a new complete disease control solution," said Joel Lipsitch, fungicide product manager for Bayer CropScience.
