Florida Blue Receives Prestigious Brand Excellence Award

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., April 21, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --  Florida Blue announced today that it has earned a Brand Excellence Award from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA). The annual awards honor Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) companies that excel in developing and enhancing the overall BCBS Brand image.

Florida Blue was awarded the Brand Excellence Award in the "Member Retention" category for having 93 percent of members renew their coverage over the past year. In 2014 Florida Blue saw a net gain in membership of more than half a million and now serves approximately 4.3 million members across the state.
