Ameet Patel, MD Joins Statewide Practice With Expertise in Cellular Therapy and Bone Marrow Transplant

FORT MYERS, Fla., June 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) is pleased to announce that cellular therapy expert and bone marrow transplant specialist Ameet Patel, MD has joined the statewide practice. Dr. Patel is providing care to patients in Pinellas County—at FCS St. Petersburg – St. Anthony's, 1201 5^th Ave. N., Ste 505, St. Petersburg, FL 33705 and at FCS St. Petersburg – Pasadena, 1615 Pasadena Ave. S., Ste 400, South Pasadena, FL 33707.

Triple board certified and with a special interest in CAR T-cell therapy and bone marrow transplants, Dr. Patel is actively involved in Phase 1 through Phase 3 clinical trial research.

Dr. Patel received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville and completed residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. He was named chief fellow during his hematology/oncology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and, concurrently, completed a Master of Management in health care at Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management.
