Florida Realtors® Wins National Award as 'Best of the Web'

ORLANDO, Fla., May 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Florida Realtors'® member website, www.floridarealtors.org, took top honors nationally in the prestigious "2010 Outstanding Realtor Association Web Site Contest," sponsored by the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) and Realtor® Association Executive Magazine.

The floridarealtors.org site was named as a "Best of the Web" winner for its focus on delivering outstanding member services online. "This site seems to have a personality – it's an inviting place to visit," the judges noted, referring to the conversational tone of its content, the people photos sprinkled throughout and various interactive options for members.

This year's website award marks the third time that floridarealtors.org has been honored by NAR since it launched in January 2007. During its inaugural year, the site was recognized by NAR as a top 2007 winner for outstanding website design. Then in 2008, its "Great Time to Buy Florida" microsite won in the NAR contest's outstanding member service feature category.

There's lots of information on building their business and being informed on what's happening."

The judging panel reviewed nearly 50 entries in the 2010 Web Site Contest, selecting only three as the "Best of the Web." Along with Florida Realtors' site, www.floridarealtors.org, the other winners included the websites of the Chicago Association of Realtors, www.chicagorealtor.com, and the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors, N.Y., www.grar.org.
