Flotek Receives EPA Approval For VeraCAL Flare Monitoring At Petroleum Refineries

HOUSTON, Oct. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Flotek Industries, Inc. ("Flotek" or the "Company") (NYSE: FTK) today announced that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") has approved its proprietary VeraCAL optical system as an alternative to gas chromatography for measuring flare vent gas composition and net heating value ("NHV") under 40 CFR Part 63, Subpart CC, National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants From Petroleum Refineries ("MACT CC").

The Company believes the approval positions its Data Analytics business to serve petroleum refinery compliance monitoring, a significant new opportunity for VeraCAL. It marks VeraCAL's second EPA alternative-method approval, building on its initial approval in July 2024.
