F.L.Putnam Investment Management Company Strengthens Team with Two Senior Hires
Expands Technology and Financial Planning Capabilities and Expertise
WELLESLEY, Mass., Sept. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- F.L.Putnam Investment Management Company (F.L.Putnam), announced today that it has appointed Albert J. Parent as chief technology officer, a new position at the firm. Glen P. Martin, CFP® has been hired as a private client advisor. Both Parent and Martin will be based in the firm's headquarters in Wellesley.

Parent will be responsible for designing and building the firm's technology platform. He has over 25 years of technology experience in the financial services industry. Prior to F.L.Putnam, he served in technology leadership roles at State Street Corporation, Atlantic Trust Private Wealth Management, Banyan Partners and Silver Bridge Advisors, where he was chief technology officer. Parent has an M.S. in computer science and a B.S. in physics from Northeastern University.
Martin will advise wealthy individuals, families and institutions on a range of financial planning solutions. He brings over 30 years of financial services experience. Prior to joining F.L.Putnam, he served in management roles at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, Columbia Threadneedle Investments and Fleet Investment Management. Martin has an M.B.A and a B.S. from Bryant University and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation.
