BENTON HARBOR, Mich., Sept. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Whether placed on the countertop or installed over a built-in oven, Jenn-Air brand's latest microwave offers an elegant, high performance option for either placement. Available in 27" or 30" widths, with optional trim kits that include stainless steel, these new models allow for flush integration into their surroundings.
"This latest model offers consumers greater flexibility for installation while details like a stainless steel interior and brushed stainless steel trim make this a truly premium microwave that is at home in a luxury kitchen," notes Jenn-Air marketing director Brian Maynard. "The microwave's flat front design combined with optional trim kits enables seamless integration whether installing flush-to-cabinet or in the wall."
Features on the oven include a Convection & Microwave Combination Cooking Mode that uses the oven's powerful convection element (1450 Watts) and fan for even heat distribution along with its microwave energy (900 Watts), to maximize the oven's power and precision to cook a variety of dishes faster. Auto Convection Modes allow for cooking a range of foods at ideal temperatures with two preset cooking cycles that automatically adjust temperature and air flow when baking, roasting or broiling. Manual Convection Modes include convect bake, convect roast and convect broil and can be preset based on the cooking method and type of food. A Broil Mode automatically preheats the oven and notifies the user when the microwave is ready to broil dishes like chicken and steak.
"The combination of microwave energy and convection elements allows this microwave to be used as a true second oven," notes Maynard.
Additional control features include ten power levels between 10 and 100 percent and Sensor Cooking that detects humidity released by food as it cooks to determine appropriate cooking times and power levels. Electronic touch controls with a scrolling White LED display allows for effortless, step-by-step navigation through cooking options.
Currently available at a suggested retail price of $899*, the microwave features a brushed stainless steel trim, an easy to clean, durable stainless steel interior and a sleek glass viewing window.
