Steve Finder joins Focus Search Partners, a Vaco Company.
NASHVILLE, Tenn., April 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Retained executive search firm, Focus Search Partners, a Vaco Company, announced today that Steve Finder has joined the firm as managing partner of the global technology practice as well as the financial officers practice (across all industry sectors), leading the team and adding new market sectors including additional depth in enterprise software, space/frontier technology and cyber security. Finder has more than 20 years of experience in matching high-performing executives with leading technology companies, ranging from venture capital and private equity-backed portfolio companies to publicly held organizations. Finder has expertise in a wide array of executive functional positions, including: finance, sales, marketing, engineering, general operations, human resources, CEO and board roles.
Finder joins Focus Search Partners with a history of more than 300 successful executive searches, both during his time as a corporate executive at organizations like Apple, SpaceX, PIMCO and Heidrick & Struggles, and as the co-founder of an executive search firm with locations in San Francisco and Boston. Most recently, Finder built the technology practice for the Americas for the retained executive search firm, Allegis Partners.
The addition of Finder follows a year of west coast expansion. Focus Search Partners acquired California-based firm, Charlson Partners, in March 2016, to expand into the technology space.
