Food Manufacturer dedicates production to Amazon during COVID-19 Pandemic

SAN FERNANDO, Calif., March 31, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Mr. Tortilla is a manufacturer of Tortillas in the San Fernando Valley. In response to the increased consumer demand due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Mr. Tortilla has decided to dedicate most of their production to sell on Amazon.

Anthony Alcazar, President of Mr. Tortilla explains, "We want to do our part to ensure that consumers can purchase tortillas online and not risk leaving home, we see it as our contribution to flattening the curve. We have committed to not raising our prices during this time, as many other companies are taking advantage of the demand for basic household goods.

"We will work with Amazon to ensure that their customers have access to our tortillas for the duration of this crisis."

A longtime partner of Children's Hunger Fund, Mr. Tortilla has committed to keeping families fed during this crisis. "Many children are in desperate need of food and Mr. Tortilla is donating a portion of their production for us to distribute during this Pandemic. We need as much help as possible during these times," says Hal Williams of Children's Hunger Fund. 

Mr Tortilla donates 10% of their net profits to charities and 10% is allocated to employee Profit Sharing.
