Forbes Ranks Paul Pagnato #2 in Northern Virginia on 2019 Best-In-State Wealth Advisors List

RESTON, Va., Feb. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Paul Pagnato, founder and CEO at PagnatoKarp, earned the #2 spot on the 2019 Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list for Northern Virginia. This year's list spotlights over 3,000 top advisors across the country. Pagnato is also ranked #16 on Barron's Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors and #35 on Forbes America's Top Wealth Advisors.

"Transparency, innovation and True Fiduciary® standards drive our fusion of family office services," said Pagnato. "The #2 Forbes ranking reinforces our dedication to adding value in the best interests of our clients."

Pagnato will be presenting at the 2019 Forbes/SHOOK Top Advisors Summit on the topic, "The Future of Outsourced Family Offices". The prestigious event for top advisors takes place at the Bellagio in Las Vegas from February 25-27.

R.J. Shook, president and founder at SHOOK Research, summed up the Forbes wealth advisors list. "Here's what our research has found: the very best advisors are laser focused on having a positive impact on their clients' lives," said Shook. "They want to add meaning, help them live better lives."

The methodology for each state's list—determined by SHOOK Research—is based on an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative criteria, including in-person interviews, industry experience, community involvement, client retention data, and revenue trends. To be considered, advisors must have a minimum of seven years' experience. The criteria do not include portfolio performance, due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK receives a fee in exchange for rankings.
