CNG-powered Transit Connect Taxis popping up all over U.S.

Chicago and Los Angeles are the latest cities where cab riders might hail a Ford Transit Connect Taxi fueled by compressed natural gas. Taxi Medallion Management has put 12 CNG Transit Connect Taxis on Chicago streets. Two L.A. area taxicab companies ordered a combined 119 CNG-powered Transit Connect Taxis. MPG matters for 40-plus percent of customers
