These new relationships expand Forefront Dermatology's presence in Iowa with the addition of three clinics located in Ames, Ankeny, and Ottumwa, Iowa.
Skin Solutions Dermatology was founded by board-certified dermatologist Kathy Cook in September 2004. Dr. Cook spent twelve years practicing dermatology with multi-specialty groups prior to founding Skin Solutions Dermatology. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Dr. Cook and Nicolle Fischer, a certified physician assistant who joined Skin Solutions in 2012, serve patients out of two locations in Ames and Ankeny, Iowa. For the past eight years, Dr. Cook and her staff have been voted Best Dermatologist in Story County.

Associates in Dermatology is led by board-certified dermatologist Kent D. Walker. Dr. Walker has been practicing dermatology for over 25 years. He is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his dermatology residency at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics.
Dr. Walker is a chairman for the Dermatology Foundation of Iowa and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Walker and Sheryl Mulder, an advanced registered nurse practitioner, see patients at their office located in Ottumwa, Iowa.
