Annuity distribution leader will guide Foresters planned Multi-Year Guaranteed Annuity launch in the U.S. in 2027
TORONTO, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Foresters Financial (Foresters) has appointed Tom Ross as Chief Distribution Officer, U.S. Annuity Sales, effective October 12, 2026. Ross joins as Foresters prepares to bring a Multi-Year Guaranteed Annuity (MYGA) to the U.S. market in 2027.
In this newly created role, Ross will shape Foresters U.S. annuity sales strategy and grow its distribution network. He will work closely with colleagues across the organization to bring the new offering to market and set it up for long-term growth.
"People don't only want to protect the ones they love. They want to know their savings will be there when they retire," said Andrea Frossard, Chief Commercial Officer, Foresters Financial. "A MYGA gives them that certainty. Tom is the right person to bring it to market. Distribution partners trust him because he shows up, listens and follows through. That's the kind of annuity business we want to build in the U.S."
Ross brings 16 years of financial services experience to Foresters. Most recently, he was National Distribution Vice President at F&G, where he led agent-facing wholesaling and National Account teams. Throughout his career, he has driven growth in the annuity market by helping annuity distributors succeed.
"I'm excited to join Foresters at such an important moment," said Ross. "What drew me here was the purpose behind the business. Foresters exists to look after its members and their communities. That matters to the distributors I work with, and it matters to the clients they serve. I've spent my career helping distribution channels succeed. Now I get to build something new with them."
Ross lives in Hugo, Minnesota, with his family. Outside of work, he is an avid fisherman and runner.
