LONDON, ON, July 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ - Yuser announces the addition of former Giphy Studios CEO and Emmy award-winning producer, Samantha Scharff as an advisor to the project. With a long track record of jumping in the front lines of new media, Samantha brings years of highly valuable experience in the tech and entertainment space to Yuser. Yuser is building a "Gamified Creative Social Network" that has users reward content they enjoy. Through Yuser's in-app currency, user's can exchange for digital assets (stickers packs etc) as well as monetize off of Yuser's own cryptocurrency.
Prior to Giphy Studios, she was Head of Digital Content and Strategy for Fox ADHD and Head of Development for Maker Studios. Samantha was also a producer for Saturday Night Live for 11 years, and produced for Comedy Central, Fox, The Colbert Report, and Tom Hanks' Electric City. When asked about her newest advisory role at Yuser, Samantha stated, "I'm excited about blockchain technology and cryptocurrency being the impetus for change. What drew me to Yuser is the possibility for anyone creating content to be rewarded for their creativity, expression, and reach. Yuser can alter the way social media is currently being used and monetized." She's always looking for innovative ways for brands and companies to connect with upcoming generations, and creating content that encourages laughter, emotion, and conversation.
Yuser will empower those who join to create content, build audiences, unlock features, and earn rewards. Yuser offers a sleek, yet familiar experience that includes extensive creative media features. Users will be able to post, gift (similar to liking), and comment on images, videos, and collages, as well as chat with and follow others. As users create content and interact with the network they gain in-app gems to level up their status, unlock features, and earn rewards. They will be able to then exchange gems for Yuser Tokens that are then stored in a secure cryptocurrency wallet.
Yuser is currently in closed alpha testing and under active development. Yuser will be released as a free app on both iOS and Android later this summer.
