Former FDA Official Joins 3D Communications' Scientific and Regulatory Advisory Board

WASHINGTON, Feb. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- 3D Communications today announced the expansion of its FDA Scientific and Regulatory Advisory Board with the appointment of Andrea Leonard-Segal, MD. Dr. Leonard-Segal is the recent Director of the Division of Nonprescription Clinical Evaluation (DNCE) in the FDA Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER).

3D's Scientific and Regulatory Advisory Board provides 3D Communications with guidance and ad hoc support to help clients prepare for FDA interactions and FDA advisory committee meetings.  The Board is comprised of former FDA officials, FDA advisory committee members, and doctors and scientists with extensive approval experience.

Dr. Leonard-Segal, co-founder of Andrea Leonard-Segal M.D. and Melissa Furness Consulting LLC, will offer companies scientific and regulatory assessment and strategy on drug development programs in all phases of clinical development.
