Former President of Zambia Rupiah Banda and Son Henry Banda Appoint International Legal Team

JOHANNESBURG, March 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the de-registration of the country's largest opposition party, the Movement for Multi-party Democracy (MMD), the former president of Zambia, Rupiah Banda and his son Henry Banda have appointed an international legal team to represent them.

London-based international law firm Amsterdam & Peroff LLP and Brian Kahn Inc of Johannesburg, a well respected South African law firm, will act as legal advisors to the former President and his son. Robert Amsterdam of Amsterdam & Peroff and Nicqui Galaktiou  of Brian Kahn Inc will be lead Counsel to the Bandas.
