Forney LP names Scott Grumski to key platform development post

PITTSBURGH, May 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Forney LP, the premier supplier of construction material testing equipment, has appointed Scott Grumski Vice President of Platform Development.

(Quote from Jeff Dziki, CEO):

"ForneyVault^® is sensational new technology that improves productivity and provides surety to the construction materials testing process. It's been well received by the marketplace, and it represents the future of material testing.  Therefore, I'm happy to announce that Scott Grumski, formerly our Chief Engineer, has agreed to assume the duties of Vice President of Platform Development.  In this role, he'll be responsible for all aspects of this automated, integrated platform: customer facing, test equipment and third party software access and integration. Scott played a key role in the development of our automatic machine line, as well as ForneyVault^®.  I can think of no one better qualified to lead this effort. "

Construction material testing is critical and often time sensitive. Tests must not only be performed properly, to protocol, but at the right time.  Laboratories employ homegrown, labor intensive methods to assure compliance, but those methods can breakdown, and definitely aren't scalable.  They usually provide little beyond hand written documentation to verify that compliance. ForneyVault^® provides an auditable, unalterable record of test results: assuring end users, AND, providing critical authenticity for the test lab.

ForneyVault^® isn't simply a standalone package.  Owing to the unique, platform nature of its design, ForneyVault^® can interface with market leading LIMS and ERP systems, support diverse needs of manufacturers like precast or batch plants, and integrate with other test protocols like concrete maturity test methods.  To date, ForneyVault^® is supporting or developing interfaces with eight 3^rd party software systems, with more continually added.
