Skaggs hired as Business Development and Sales Support Representative and Chad Grubb hired as Implementation and Support Specialist.
Sean Johnson, Software Developer
Johnson is responsible for extending and maintaining FORTE's current software products, as well as developing new and exciting software using the latest development techniques and tools.
Prior to joining FORTE, Johnson served as a senior web developer for Quality Gold. Before that, he worked for U.S. Bank and Fifth Third Bank in a variety of roles involving methodologies, languages, frameworks, databases and software development tools. Johnson has more than 10 years of experience developing and executing the web applications necessary for delivering great web experiences to customers.
Nick Wieland, Controls and Implementation Specialist
Wieland is responsible for electrical controls and PLC software development to meet specific customer needs, travelling to customer sites to implement, test and commission new and existing systems, training customers on the use of their systems and creating end user documentation.
Prior to joining FORTE, Wieland worked as a technical support engineer for Intelligrated, a communication technician for Total Quality Logistics and a technical representative for SimplexGrinell. In all, he possesses more than 10 years of engineering and management experience and a degree in electronic engineering from ITT Technical Institute.
Lisa M. Skaggs, Business Development and Sales Support Representative
As a business development and sales support representative, Skaggs will assist the business development team in its efforts to identify qualified business opportunities, as well as support the development of strategic accounts.
Prior to joining FORTE, Skaggs served as a marketing and training specialist for Simplesoft Solutions, Inc. and as the director of project managers at Side Effects, Inc. In total, she possesses more than 18 years of marketing and management experience.
Skaggs earned dean's list status at both Ohio University and Sinclair Community College.
Chad Grubb, Implementation and Support Specialist
Grubb is responsible for implementing and supporting FORTE's flagship software suite of products as well as developing new customer specific features based upon individual customer requirements.
Most recently, Grubb served as a senior systems engineer at HNTB Corporation. Prior to HNTB, he worked as a systems engineer for FMSM Engineers and as a systems administrator/GIS manager for the Butler County (Ohio) Information Services Division. In all, he possesses more than 14 years of experience in system design, development, administration and implementation.
Grubb attended Eastern Michigan University and majored in computer science.
