Fotona Appoints Daniel Larko as Vice President & General Manager for U.S. and Canada

DALLAS, Sept. 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Fotona, a global leader in medical laser technologies for aesthetics, dermatology, surgery, gynecology, and dentistry, today announced the appointment of Daniel Larko as Vice President & General Manager for the United States and Canada.

In this role, Larko will spearhead Fotona's North American operations, driving strategic growth, advancing commercial excellence, and strengthening customer partnerships to reinforce the company's position as the market leader in medical laser innovation.

A dynamic healthcare executive, Larko brings more than two decades of senior leadership experience across the Med-Tech and Life Sciences sectors. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his ability to grow and transform businesses, lead large-scale organizations through change, and successfully commercialize disruptive technologies across multiple care settings.

Most recently, Larko served as U.S. Vice President of Sales & Professional Services for Becton Dickinson's Life Sciences Diagnostic Solutions business, where he led transformative strategies that advanced market share and operational performance. He also headed BD's U.S. Surgical Specialties division, where he expanded adoption across hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs), and office-based practices.

Prior to BD's acquisition of C.R. Bard, Larko held progressive leadership roles at C.R. Bard Davol, ultimately serving as Area Vice President of Sales for Hernia & Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. Earlier in his career, he advanced innovation and growth at Bard Biosurgery and Reliant Pharmaceuticals, earning multiple national awards for performance and leadership excellence.

Larko is regarded for his expertise in go-to-market strategy, business transformation, market expansion, and launching breakthrough technologies. He holds an MBA in International Management from Fordham University and a B.A. in Biology & Chemistry from Montclair State University.
