Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) Taps Infradapt to provide VoIP System

PHILADELPHIA, May 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Infradapt, LLC, a leading provider of communications and network infrastructure solutions, announced today that it has been hired by Philadelphia-based Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) to provide VoIP system.

John Reilly, Managing Partner at Infradapt, explains that FIRE had an aging Private Branch Exchange (PBX) platform using expensive and limiting copper lines. The burden of managing a local phone system was an arduous task, and a transfer to a third-party host to offer and manage a feature-rich unified communications system to service their staff of 18, and a host of remote users, would be a viable solution. 

FIRE chose Infradapt to install Digium's Switchvox product. The selection allows FIRE to rely on Infradapt's robust hosting architecture including secure cloud facilities with redundant power providers, backup diesel generators, HVAC controlled atmosphere, and redundant and high volume bandwidth, rather than relying on a local appliance and internet connectivity.

Sean Clark, Vice President of Operations, explains that like many other small organizations, FIRE did not want to waste revenue and overhead. Infradapt offered a viable solution that allows the organization to easily manage their product, as they do not have dedicated in-house IT support staff.
