DELAND, Fla., Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Foundations to Freedom is proud to announce the installation of a new community Narcan station at 1685 Providence Boulevard in Deltona, Florida, further expanding access to lifesaving overdose prevention resources throughout Volusia County.
This newest station is part of Foundations to Freedom's ongoing commitment to reducing overdose deaths, breaking the stigma surrounding substance use disorder, and ensuring that individuals and families have access to critical resources when they need them most.
Narcan (naloxone) is a lifesaving medication that can rapidly reverse an opioid overdose. By making Narcan more accessible throughout the community, Foundations to Freedom is helping equip residents with the tools needed to respond during an overdose emergency.
"Our mission goes beyond providing recovery housing. We are committed to meeting people where they are, removing barriers to lifesaving resources, and making sure our communities know that recovery is possible," said Katherine Russell. "Every Narcan station we install is another opportunity to save someone's life and give them a chance at recovery."
The organization continues to work alongside local governments, healthcare providers, businesses, educational institutions, and community partners to expand overdose prevention education and access to Narcan.
