In his new role, Dr. Grundy will help drive healthcare transformation initiatives and bring his clinical expertise to Innovaccer's revolutionary product.
Dr. Paul Grundy is the founding President of the Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative (PCPCC) and is affectionately referred to as the 'Godfather' of the Patient-Centered Medical Home revolution. He was bestowed with the prestigious Barbara Starfield Primary Care Leadership Award in 2016 and the 2012 National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Quality Award for his impactful contribution to redefining the primary care landscape.
In the past, Dr. Grundy has served as IBM's Global Director of Healthcare Transformation and was one of the 38 IBMers, and only physician, selected for IBM's senior leadership forum, known as the 'IBM Industry Academy.' He also spent a decade of his professional life as a senior diplomat of the rank of Minister-Counselor in the U.S. Department of State.
Dr. Grundy is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience and an internationally-recognized healthcare thought leader. He is the Ambassador of Healthcare DENMARK, a public-private nonprofit partnership established to promote the accomplishment of the Danish healthcare system. Additionally, Dr. Grundy is an honorary member of the UK National Association of Primary Care and the first international member of the Irish National Association of General Practice.
