Four Finalists Selected In Lon Smith Roofing's Free Roof Give-Away

FORT WORTH, Texas, March 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Lon Smith Roofing announced four finalists have been selected in its 1^st annual No Roof Left Behind ^TM community program:

• Betty Franklin of Fort Worth, nominated by Judy Holley-Meals on Wheels.
  Betty struggles monthly to make ends meet. Minor repairs to the roof have been made by friends or family because she does not have the money to have it professionally repaired. Despite her situation, Betty always has a smile on her face and views her glass as "half full".
  
• Kim Campbell of Fort Worth, nominated by Jenna Unsen.
  Kim cares for her aging parents, who both have dementia and want nothing more than to stay in their home. Kim's son also lives there and helps care for his grandparents; he also has special needs of his own. Kim manages the household despite her own health challenges as well. Without a new roof, this family might not be able to stay in their home and live together due to their diverse needs.
  
• Earl Wheaton of Waxahachie, nominated by Natalie Needham-Citizens National Bank of Texas.
  Earl is a 76 year old Waxahachie native. He is currently battling heart disease and cancer. He is physically and financially unable to replace his roof. Earl is a very kind man that is well known throughout his town
  
• Charles Ford of Dallas, nominated by Esther Buggs.
  Charles is a retired school teacher. He is 68 years old and has been disabled by several strokes. His income is very limited. The ceiling of his bedroom has fallen in due to leaks. He has endured this dilemma for several years.

One of these community members will receive a free roof – valued between $6,000 and $10,000– from Lon Smith Roofing. The public is invited and encouraged to read the finalists' stories and vote for their favorite at www.noroofleftbehind.com.
