Fourth Annual Charity Golf Events Raises $94,400 for FSFMI
DALLAS, Oct. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Family Support Foundation for Mental Illness held its 4th Annual Charity Golf Event at Tour 18 on October 8th. The golf tournament is one of the annual fundraising events that support the foundation's initiatives.
The event raised $94,400 which will be distributed among several leading mental illness charities to support individuals and families coping with mental illness, including college students and for returning military personnel. This year's beneficiaries include state chapters of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Active Minds, and the Halo for Freedom Warrior Foundation.
Sponsors included many of the leading companies in the wireless communications industry thanks to the continuing support of FSFMI partner Cellular One.
