FOX launches BOOM! Mobile App in Partnership with Screenz and Keshet DCP
Launching June 25th, the BOOM! App Offers Users a Unique Experience with Real-Time Play Along and 24/7 Play Anytime Game Modes
New Quiz Show BOOM! Premieres Thursday, June 25 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on FOX
LOS ANGELES and TEL AVIV, Israel, June 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- FOX announced today the launch of the BOOM! Second Screen and 24/7 App, developed by Screenz, an award-winning global digital entertainment company, and Keshet DCP. Programmed by Screenz, the free app is a cutting-edge, real-time platform that seamlessly accompanies BOOM!, the general knowledge quiz show that combines high drama and high stakes with high comedy in a fun-filled, trivia-charged, slime-soaked entertainment blast. Available on both iOS and Android, the BOOM! Mobile game App will go live simultaneously with the show's premiere on Thursday, June 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

The App will feature both Real-Time Play Along and a 24/7 Play Anytime game modes, offering greater value to the viewer and a true live experience. Both game modes put players in the driver's seat, allowing them to play simultaneously with the TV contestant in the studio, and compete with other players at home. The app offers an engaging, interactive experience with dynamic graphics, a tournament mode, leaderboard and opportunities for additional branded content:

Hosted by comedian Tom Papa ("The Marriage Ref"), BOOM! challenges teams of three players to defuse a series of ticking slime-bombs, by dramatically cutting the wires relating to the correct answers and leaving the wrong answers untouched. Get it right – and the players win big money. Get it wrong or run out of time – and, after a tense countdown, the players – and portions of the audience – are showered with anything from "guacamole" to "mashed potatoes," forcing the players out of the game.
Based on Keshet International's smash-hit format, the show premiered last year to outstanding ratings in Israel, becoming its highest-rated game show launch ever.
