FOX NEWS MEDIA TO PRESENT SPECIAL MULTIPLATFORM PROGRAMMING COMMEMORATING THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF SEPTEMBER 11TH

NEW YORK, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- FOX News Media will honor the 25th anniversary of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks with extensive multiplatform special programming. On Friday, September 11th and in the days leading up to it, network personalities and correspondents will present commemorative packages and interviews while reporting live from locations across New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.

During the week of September 7th, FOX News Channel's (FNC) signature morning show FOX & Friends (6-9 AM/ET) will broadcast live from several locations and feature interviews with guests about their experiences 25 years ago. Starting on Monday, co-host Steve Doocy, who was broadcasting live alongside co-host Brian Kilmeade on the morning of the attacks, will host the program's flagship "Breakfast with Friends" series live from the historic O'Hara's Pub in downtown Manhattan just two blocks from Ground Zero. Doocy will travel to Washington, D.C. on Tuesday and speak with Tunnels to Towers Foundation chairman and CEO Frank Siller, as the Steel Across America tour, a historic coast-to-coast campaign honoring those who sacrificed their lives on 9/11, arrives at the White House. Throughout the show on Thursday, Doocy will broadcast live from Shanksville, Pennsylvania, the crash site of United Airlines Flight 93. 

On Friday, September 11th, special coverage will commence with FOX & Friends co-hosts Kilmeade, Ainsley Earhardt and Lawrence Jones broadcasting live from the Hyatt House in Jersey City, overlooking the New York City (NYC) skyline, while Doocy will contribute live from Ground Zero. America's Newsroom (9-11 AM/ET) co-anchors Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino will broadcast live from Brookfield Place overlooking the World Trade Center campus in downtown Manhattan. The program will carry the live reading of the victims' names from the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. From 11 AM - 3 PM/ET, The Faulkner Focus (11-12 PM/ET), Outnumbered (12-1 PM/ET), and America Reports (1-3 PM/ET) will all feature special segments and interviews with a wide range of guests including families of 9/11 victims, military officials, 9/11 survivors, and founders/CEOs of 9/11-related foundations. Martha MacCallum, host of The Story (3-4 PM/ET), will report live from the Hyatt House and feature interviews with Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the New York Police Department (NYPD) co-chief chaplain, and Jessica Tisch, the NYPD Commissioner. Additionally, The Will Cain Show (4-5 PM/ET) will honor the anniversary with guests who will recount their experiences on 9/11.

Contributing to coverage throughout the day will be FNC senior correspondent Eric Shawn, who reported from Ground Zero on the day of the attacks, live from downtown Manhattan and correspondent Alexis McAdams from Shanksville. Chief national security correspondent Jennifer Griffin and senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy will report from the Pentagon and the White House, respectively. 

FOX Nation will debut two new specials exploring the impacts of the 9/11 attacks 25 years later. Premiering on September 4th, Paul Mauro's Notes from Ground Zero spotlights FNC contributor and former NYPD Inspector Paul Mauro – who was working the morning of 9/11 – as he returns to Ground Zero for the first time in 25 years. Mauro, who scribbled down notes in the days following the attacks, reunites with fellow officers and shares never-before-seen photos and video. On September 8th, FOX Nation will launch Born on 9/11: 25 Years with Harris Faulkner, exploring the lives of people born on September 11th, 2001, the hope they brought to the country, and where they are now. The platform will also livestream the official ceremonies at the NYC memorial site and the Pentagon on September 11th. 

FOX Business Network's (FBN) Liz Claman, anchor of The Claman Countdown (weekdays 3-4 PM/ET), will speak exclusively with Brandon and Kyle Lutnick, the Chairman and Executive Vice Chairman of Cantor Fitzgerald, on September 10th to commemorate the 658 Cantor Fitzgerald employees lost in the 9/11 attacks and to preview the firm's annual BGC Charity Day. On September 11th, Claman will feature an interview with founder and CEO of Silverstein Properties Larry Silverstein from the World Trade Center, which he helped rebuild following the 9/11 attacks. She will also speak with then-U.S. Senator and former New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine (D-NJ), and former JP Morgan Chase CEO Bill Harrison as they reflect on the impact of the day. 

FOX News Digital will provide day-of coverage of the commemorations at Ground Zero, the Pentagon and Shanksville, including live updates, coordinated video and social content and live stream embeds from all three ceremonies. The platform will feature interviews with Elizabeth L. Hillman, president and CEO of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, and former Navy SEAL Robert O'Neill, who participated in the 2011 raid that killed Osama bin Laden. Throughout the day, FOX News Digital will publish multiple retrospective and feature stories focused on survivors, first responders, victims' families and those carrying the legacy of 9/11 forward 25 years later. The platform will also offer political and policy coverage, including reporting on how homeland security has evolved since the attacks. Throughout the day on September 11th, FOX News Headlines 24/7 on Sirius XM will provide the latest updates on ceremonies and events every 15 minutes. Leading up to the commemoration, FOX News Radio (FNR) will share two weeks of daily one-minute feature reports, each spotlighting someone personally affected by the 9/11 attacks. FNR will also offer breaking news coverage of the NYC memorial ceremony, featuring reporting from Ground Zero. The Brian Kilmeade Show, Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla and The Guy Benson Show will interview guests and newsmakers impacted by the attacks. On YouTube, The Brian Kilmeade Show will provide access to some of Kilmeade's most notable 9/11 interviews, and FNR affiliates will be offered an anniversary special from Kilmeade that reflects on how America has evolved since then.

FOX News Podcasts will release specialized coverage in remembrance as well. The FOX News Rundown podcast will mark the anniversary by delivering a week of immersive content across its platform. The FOX News Rundown: Evening Edition will anchor the programming by providing personal accounts of survival and exploring the lasting geopolitical and cultural impacts of the attacks. The FOX Business Rundown and FOX News From Washington will examine the quarter-century legacy through dedicated economic, policy, and national security lenses. On Perino on Politics, Perino will sit down with key insiders of the Bush administration who helped navigate the crisis from the center of power, including Chief Photographer Eric Draper, Presidential Speechwriter John McConnell and Director of Media Affairs Jeanie Mamo. Additionally, the host of Searching for Heroes, FNC's Benjamin Hall, will sit down with guests whose lives were impacted by the attacks, sharing stories of survival, sacrifice and resilience.
