WASHINGTON, April 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today FRC Action PAC, the political action committee connected to the Family Research Council, is endorsing Roy Blunt for U.S. Senate representing Missouri. FRC Action PAC Chairman Tony Perkins will be joining Rep. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) today for several campaign events.

"Roy Blunt is a true friend of the family. He is a leader and proven champion of the values that make America the greatest country in history," said Tony Perkins, Chairman of FRC Action PAC. "We need conservative senators who will fight to defend our faith, family and freedoms against the radical anti-family leadership in the Senate and the corruption that affects so many Members."

"The Missouri Senate race is being targeted by the national left because Roy Blunt succeeds so often in winning vital battles for the sanctity of life and other foundational values of most Americans. His expected opponent is a liberal Democrat who clearly would vote down the line for the President's extreme agenda, including federal judges more than willing to impose their own opinions on the rest of America, by reinventing and rewriting the Constitution."

"We need pro-family senators in Congress and FRC Action PAC believes that Roy Blunt will be a true advocate for the issues that best uphold and strengthen families. We are proud to support his candidacy," concluded Perkins.

FRC Action PAC is the political action committee connected to FRC Action, a 501(c)(4) membership organization. FRC Action is the legislative advocacy arm of the Family Research Council, a 501(c)(3) organization.
