Freedom One Financial Group Names Errol Hau Vice President of Strategic Growth and Development

CLARKSTON, Mich., July 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Clarkston, Mich.-based Freedom One Financial Group, one of the nation's largest 401(k) plan consultants, is pleased to announce Errol Hau has joined the firm's executive team as vice president of strategic growth and development. Freedom One Financial Group President and CEO Mark Wayne made the announcement.

Mr. Hau will oversee the firm's 401(k) Sales, Advisor and Marketing departments, in addition to providing strategic contributions by recommending new products and services for institutional and retail clients. His nearly two decades of robust experience in the financial services and marketing industries, in addition to an impressive track record of developing sales programs and strategic planning for growing markets, will complement the rapid expansion of the company's offerings.

Prior to joining Freedom One Financial Group, Mr. Hau served as vice president of the financial services division for Livonia, Mich.-based Market Strategies International, a top 25 global market research firm, where he provided business-focused market research to develop new client relationships. He began as an early stage employee of Ann Arbor, Mich.-based web analytics firm Forsee, eventually growing the company to more than 150 employees in seven years while driving 25 percent of the company's overall growth. Prior to that, Mr. Hau was director of product management and marketing for Brookfield, Wis.-based FISERV, a financial services technology company, where he worked to re-engineer new software technology, drastically reducing costs and increasing market share.

Mr. Hau earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Master's degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas. He is a resident of Ann Arbor, Mich.
