French Connection Launches SS 2018 Collection With Exclusive Brand Event In New York
NEW YORK, Nov. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On Wednesday 8th November, French Connection held an exclusive brand event 'At Home with French Connection' at Gary's Loft Penthouse – 28 W 36th Street, NYC to preview the Spring 2018 collections.
The event debuted the brand's lifestyle immersion into Spring 2018 with women's and men's contemporary apparel, women's outerwear, fashion accessories, intimates and loungewear, homewear and fragrance.
The event showcased a selection of new licensing initiatives for French Connection in the US for 2018, including the launch of an Intimates / Loungewear collection with Gelmart, a Homeware collection partnered with Creative Home Ideas and a new French Connection Duo Premium Fragrance created with Interparfum.
Key press, influencers, major US department stores and VIP contacts were invited to immerse themselves with the brand and product through various interactive sessions.
A morning Pilates session held by Karen Lord, founder of Karen Lord Pilates Movement, showcased the brand's new activewear collection— French Connection FIT. An intimate Power of Fragrance workshop followed, where guests discovered the inspiration behind the launch of the new French Connection Duo fragrance.
Following a seated lunch with French Connection COO and VIP "Friends of the Brand", the afternoon involved smartphone clairvoyant, Erin McMonagle holding a private reading to preview the brand's new jewelry and watches collections. French Connection also re-launched Jewelry with Almar Sales, showcased Watches from the partners ICW in London and featured Bags and Outerwear as part of the existing partnerships with Bag Studio and Rothschild.
The Homewear Activation saw holistic home expert Laura Benko (a master of modern Feng Shui) teach the audience how to create their own stress-free space.
In the evening, guests were treated to canapés and cocktails while browsing the collections.
