French Toast Reveals Winner of $15,000 Grand Prize For 'Show Us The Real 'U' in Uniform' Contest

NEW YORK, Dec. 22, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- French Toast (www.frenchtoast.com), the leading supplier of school uniforms, today announced the $15,000 grand prize winner of its "Show Us The Real 'U' in Uniform" contest. The contest, which was open to students who attend a school with a dress code and ran from the summer through mid-September, gave students an outlet to show their individuality and what makes them special and unique.

Adrienne Lim, a sophomore at Merrol Hyde Magnet School in Hendersonville, TN, is the grand prize winner and recipient of $10,000 in cash. Her school will receive $5,000 in French Toast school uniforms. Lim, who is interested in studying forensic anthropology and medicine in college, said she plans to put all of her prize money in a college savings fund. When she's not in school, the highly focused and motivated 16-year-old enjoys writing, drawing, playing the piano and reading.

A total of 10 finalists were chosen on November 1, based on the originality, creativity, authenticity and quality of the photos/video submitted. Voting was then open from November 1 – November 21, and the grand prize winner received the most votes. The five students with the next highest number of votes won the first prize and will receive $500 and their schools will be given $100 in French Toast school uniform vouchers. The four second prize winners will each receive a $100 gift card.
