LOUIS, Nov. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The time has arrived for Fresh Thyme in Town & Country and O'Fallon with grand opening celebrations on November 4 beginning with ribbon-cutting ceremonies at 6:45 a.m. followed by doors opening at 7 a.m. where the first 250 shoppers in line at each store will receive free reusable shopping bags filled with $50 worth of healthy and organic groceries. The O'Fallon (2235 Highway K) and Town & Country (13957 Manchester Blvd., Ballwin) stores both have family friendly events planned throughout opening weekend.
Shoppers interested in securing their free bag of groceries are encouraged to arrive early. Lines often form several hours in advance! Throughout the day, shoppers can enjoy the following activities at both stores:
6:45 a.m. – Ribbon cutting ceremony with chamber of commerce
7 a.m. – Doors open/grocery giveaway to first 250 shoppers
11 a.m.-2 p.m. – Free face painting
11 a.m.-3 p.m. – Boar's Head hot dog cart
12-3 p.m. – Live music
During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Fresh Thyme will be donating $5,000 each to Girls on the Run (Town & Country store) and Cancer Support Community (O'Fallon store). Both stores will also have free live music and face paintings on Saturday as well as additional community-focused initiatives.
