Fried Frank Elects Steven G. Scheinfeld Global Chair of Corporate Department

NEW YORK, March 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Steven G. Scheinfeld has been appointed to serve as ‎Global Chair of the Corporate Department.  Mr. Scheinfeld had served as Co-Chair of Fried Frank's Corporate Department alongside Robert C. Schwenkel.

Mr. Scheinfeld has extensive experience representing public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and corporate governance and financing matters. He has represented clients - including most recently Aerie Pharmaceuticals, CVS Health, Northstar Realty, SL Green Realty, Terex Corporation, Thomson Reuters and TradeWeb -‎ in some of their most sophisticated and high-profile transactions.

After serving as Chair and, subsequently, Co-Chair of the Corporate Department for more than a decade, Mr. Schwenkel determined to step down from his departmental duties to focus more time on continuing to grow the Firm's Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity Practice.
