The award was presented at the Association's 36th Annual Conference in Washington, DC. Ms. Takaki is the current Chair of the Employee Ownership Foundation, The ESOP Association's affiliated 501(c)(3) Foundation dedicated to promoting employee ownership. She is active in the Hawaii Chapter of The ESOP Association and has served on the Executive Committee's State & Regional Chapter Council. From 2007 – 2009, Ms. Takaki served as Chair of The ESOP Association.
