Alabama state representative opens second Huddle House location in Winfield
WINFIELD, Ala., June 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Serving others is a way of life for Huddle House franchisee Mike Millican. For seven terms he has served the counties of Lamar, Marion and Winston as an Alabama state representative. For almost three decades he served his hometown of Hamilton as the director of business and industry for the local Bevill State College. And for over the past decade he has been serving up southern-style comfort food as a Huddle House franchise owner, first in Hamilton and now with a second restaurant that recently opened in Winfield.
Millican opened his first Huddle House diner 11 years ago in his hometown after selling a tractor dealership he had owned. His reason for opening his newest restaurant is the same reason he first entered the restaurant business over a decade earlier.

The Winfield Huddle House, located at 7016 State Highway 12, seats 74 people and reflects the new, dynamic Huddle House image that has led to a dramatic growth spurt by the family dining chain in recent years.
With more than 400 restaurants open or under development, Huddle House expects to add an additional 100 locations over the next three years.

Typically open 24 hours, Huddle House serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. Other favorites include Big Bold Burgers, Big House sandwich platters, country fried steak with green beans and marinated grilled chicken with sweet potato fries.
