Software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) are still young in their deployment cycles. The tool follows a 10-point scale that allows for nuances in performance evaluation. The research team confirms the veracity of this weighted scorecard through sensitivity analysis, which confirms that small changes to the ratings for a specific criterion do not lead to a significant change in the overall relative rankings of the companies.
