Decentralized packaged/containerized water and wastewater treatment systems have disrupted the water treatment industry by providing a sustainable and economical alternative to conventional centralized treatment systems. Most decentralized technologies explicitly focus on the efficiency of secondary/biological treatment systems for a quality effluent, however the efficiency of the primary treatment systems directly impacts the overall efficiency of the entire treatment system.
