Frost & Sullivan's Charity Run in Iskandar Malaysia Collected over RM80K for Mercy Malaysia in the Flood Rebuilding Efforts

NUSAJAYA, Malaysia, April 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Frost & Sullivan raised over RM80K from its annual charity run, Frost The Trail Iskandar.

Frost the Trail Iskandar Malaysia is a charity run co-organized with Strategic Partner Medini, which aims to raise funds for the adopted charity, Mercy Malaysia, as well as instill an appreciation for nature and the environment.

It is an exciting race, where teams of four compete on a 5km challenging route, starting at 1Medini Hub and ending at Puteri Harbour. The team winners were tabulated based on the time each team of four managed to complete the circuit.

"100 per cent of the donations received for Frost The Trail Iskandar will be channeled to Mercy Malaysia to help in the flood rebuilding efforts," said Mr. Thomas Tay, Senior Director of Strategic, Planning and Operations, Asia Pacific at Frost & Sullivan and Chairman of Frost The Trail Organizing Committee.

"Through this unique event, Frost & Sullivan aims to give back to the community, enhance teamwork, and emphasize the importance of healthy living, while providing an excellent opportunity to interact with industry peers in a casual and relaxed environment," he added.

Many VIPs were in attendance including guest-of-honor Tan Sri Datuk Seri Shahrir bin Abdul Samad, Member of Parliament for Johor Baharu, and Dr. Zaini Abu Bakar, ADUN Nusajaya. Also in attendance from Frost & Sullivan is Manoj Menon, Senior Partner & Asia Pacific Managing Director.

The top 3 teams that came in fastest in the run were from Iskandar Investment Berhad, i2M Ventures and Medini, respectively.
