FRS Fuels NYC This Winter by Spreading Healthy Energy Throughout the City

NEW YORK, Dec. 20, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- FRS® Healthy Energy® takes over Manhattan this winter by fueling New York with its ready-to-drink beverages and energy chews through two mobile pop-up trucks, street teams, pedicabs, and additional branded elements integrated throughout the city. FRS Fuels NYC will energize locals and visitors alike by offering product samples designed to provide sustained energy, help enhance fitness, and support immune function.  This will be the first stop on a national tour scheduled to run from December 27th through January 1st, continuing cross country to Los Angeles.  Additional cities to be announced.

The FRS® Healthy Energy® pop-up trucks will add a splash of color to the concrete streets of the city bringing positive energy just in time for the holidays. The idea is not only to fuel New Yorkers, but also charities in need of support this season; therefore, one of the trucks will be focused on raising funds for the Lance Armstrong Foundation LIVESTRONG.  Visitors can participate in stationary bike challenges where FRS will donate $1.00 to LIVESTRONG for every mile spun. Winners receive a week membership to David Barton Gym and will be entered to win a six-month gym membership.

FRS® Healthy Energy® will provide music fans with the opportunity to jam to popular DJs - the trucks will present notable names such as DJ Theory, DJ Price and DJ Ani Quinn, spinning live. In addition, visitors can show off their own moves in the Dance Dance Revolution competitions, where break dancing teams engage fans to display their best moves.  All guests who participate will receive FRS® merchandise.  Holiday gift certificates to nearby stores will be given out to the overall winners. On New Year's Eve, the truck will celebrate a healthy start to 2011 with a street party in the heart New York City's Meatpacking District.

The FRS® Healthy Energy® street teams will help keep New Yorkers warm this winter by fueling them with a variety of products packed with a powerful all-natural antioxidant quercetin, seven essential vitamins, and green tea extract.  They will also hand out branded scarves and hats for extra protection from the chilly city winds.
